Kuroaxe

Moving image

Make something people stay for.

Kuroaxe film is not content filler. We write, produce, and finish brand films, product films, reels, explainers, and event records with a single standard: if it would be embarrassing in a dark room, it does not ship.

The work, at length

How this discipline is practised here.

Kuroaxe film is not content filler. We write, produce, and finish brand films, product films, reels, explainers, and event records to a single test: if it would be embarrassing in a dark room, it does not ship. Length is not a lowering of the standard.

One world, many lengths. The hero, the social cut, and the paid six seconds are boarded together so a second shoot is not required to “make it work online.” Sound, colour, and titles are finished as one object.

You will see the treatment, the board, the stills, and the cut. Collaboration without chaos. Direction, edit, and finishing sit here; cinematography and specialists are cast to the brief, under the house standard.

Who it is for

Brands that need moving image with the patience of cinema and the purpose of a campaign: hero films, product, social lengths, and the cuts that must work in paid without a second shoot.

What we will not do

We will not ship a showreel of other people’s taste. We will not let a six-second cut betray the hero. We will not treat production as a black box.

Problems we take

What this service quietly repairs.

  • A showreel of other people’s taste

We start from the brand’s light, pace, and silence, not a moodboard of last year’s winners.

  • Social cuts that betray the hero film

One world, many lengths. The six-second cut must still be the house.

  • Production as a black box

You will see the board, the stills, the cut. Collaboration without chaos.

Process

How the work proceeds.

  1. 01

    Treatment

The idea, the references, the thing we will not do.

  2. 02

    Board

Shots, stills, sound, and the cut in principle.

  3. 03

    Produce

Cast, location, light. Or a studio that behaves like one.

  4. 04

    Cut

Picture, sound, colour, titles: one finish.

  5. 05

    Distribute

Hero, social, paid, and the objects that live after the premiere.

Plate 01 · Maison Lumen

A scent house, made inevitable

Lumen had prestige and silence. The brief was not awareness. It was to make the house felt in rooms that had forgotten it, without turning a fragrance into a lifestyle slogan. We built a season of film, editorial social, and a retail AR chapter that treated the bottle as an object of light, not a SKU.

Plate 03 · Vespera

Try the light on

Vespera’s stones do not photograph like they behave on skin. We built an AR try-on and product film that borrowed the lighting of the salon, then connected the gesture to a specialist, not a cart. Bookings from the experience overtook walk-in introductions.

Plate 04 · Halcyon Motor

A marque, not a model year

Halcyon needed desire before a list. Identity, print, and a brand film were composed as editorial, not a reveal event. The series allocated privately. Press described a marque, not a model year, which was the brief, achieved.

Questions

Asked, before the first meeting.

Do you have an in-house crew?

Direction, edit, and finishing sit here. We cast cinematography and specialists to the brief, under our standard.

Can you deliver only social?

Yes. Many retainers are a seasonal reel system. The standard does not drop with the length.

Will you work from our script?

We can. We will still write a treatment so picture and sound are not an afterthought.

Where do we watch the showreel?

On this page, and by request in a private viewing if the work is under embargo.

Private enquiry

Begin with film.

A strategy session is enough to see whether the standard fits. Bring the constraint. We will bring a point of view.
