Kuroaxe

The house

Strategists, designers, marketers, and makers, under one standard.

To make ambitious brands impossible to ignore, without asking them to become loud, cheap, or generic.

Story

Kuroaxe is a creative growth house for brands that have outgrown noise. The name is deliberate. Kuro (black) is the discipline of restraint: the lacquer, the unlit room, the decision to leave space. The axe is the cut. What we remove is as considered as what we make. A campaign is often finished when one more idea has been refused.

We were formed for a simple failure we kept seeing in the market: beautiful brand work that could not find a buyer, and efficient media that made the brand look rented. Creative teams and performance teams treated each other as rival churches. The client paid twice and sounded like nobody.

Kuroaxe holds both in the same edit. The film must convert. The media must look like the house. The search page must deserve the click. Social is a salon, not a slot machine. AR is hospitality, not a weekend novelty. That is not a slogan. It is how the roster is staffed.

We sit beside Codeaxes, who build products and technology. Together we can take a brand from idea to interface: try-on, showroom, landing, the object in the hand. Apart, we remain a complete marketing house: search, social, performance, presence, graphics, and film.

Clients come when they need a partner who will not flatter a brief. We prefer a short roster, long seasons, and work that still looks inevitable two years later. If a project wants volume without judgement, we are the wrong house, and we will say so before a contract is signed.

Values

Five words we will not use as decoration.

  • Curiosity

We ask until the real constraint appears. The first brief is rarely the brief. Heritage, margin, ego, and the thing the founder will not say in a kickoff. Those are the materials.

  • Clarity

Language you can spend against. If we cannot say it simply, we do not understand it yet. Ambiguity is allowed in a mood; it is not allowed in a plan.

  • Creativity

Not decoration. The shortest path to a feeling that numbers can later confirm. We would rather one image that holds than twelve that expire.

  • Accountability

Named owners. Named outcomes. No theatre of collaboration. The people in the pitch stay on the work, which is the only reputation that matters.

  • Measurable impact

Taste is not the opposite of measurement. We keep both on the table: contribution, qualified demand, memory, and the work’s right to exist in the archive.

Philosophy

Creative meets performance in the edit.

Creative meets performance in the edit. We do not run a brand studio and a growth studio as separate religions. A frame that cannot be cut for paid is unfinished. A media plan that cannot sit next to the lookbook is unfinished. The standard is one house, spoken in every room.

  • A single standard across channels, so the brand accumulates instead of restarting every quarter.
  • Senior attention after the pitch. Direction, strategy, and craft are not handed to a bench you have never met.
  • Honesty about budget, timing, and what will not work, including when we are the wrong partner.
  • A sibling technology studio, Codeaxes, when the experience must be built, not merely advertised.
  • Confidentiality as a default. Public plates are published only when the client wants the work seen.

Roster

The people in the pitch stay on the work.

  • EM

    Elena March

    Creative Director

Sets the world: image, type, and the line we will not cross. Previously led campaigns for fragrance and cultural houses.

  • RO

    Rafael Okoye

    Head of Strategy

Writes the brief the work can actually spend. Audience, offer, and the commercial spine of every season.

  • MC

    Mina Cho

    Performance Lead

Media, measurement, and the discipline of killing what is merely cheap. Paid with manners.

  • HB

    Hugo Bell

    Design Director

Identity systems, campaign worlds, and collateral that can survive a printer and a six-second cut.

  • PR

    Priya Raman

    Film Lead

Picture, sound, and the social lengths that still belong to the hero. If it cannot play in a dark room, it does not ship.

  • TA

    Thomas Adler

    Growth Partner

The commercial relationship. Scope, seasons, and the conversation with the client’s board when the work must be explained.

Portraits and biographies are placeholders for the founding roster and will be replaced with live profiles before public launch.

A short roster. Long seasons. A strategy session is the usual first step.
